Eligibility Criteria:

• Nominees must hold the position of Chief Sustainability Officer or an equivalent role in their respective organisations. They must be the highest sustainability representative in a leadership role.
• Only 1 CSO/equivalent role per group or affiliated companies
• Company headquarters must be based within EU countries or the U.K.
• Over 6 months in the current position to be eligible for further nomination stage

Nomination Process:

A nomination committee composed of 12 Futur/io Institute faculty members and partners elected the 20 nominees, out of the TOP100 European CSOs nominated by the Futur/io Institute, based on publicly available data.

Judging Panel:

• The judging panel will consist of 7 experts in sustainability, business leaders, and representatives from relevant industries.
• Judges will evaluate nominees based on their leadership, innovation, and measurable impact on sustainability initiatives within their current corporations. 

Confidentiality:

• All information provided in the nomination process will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
• The judges and organising committee will not disclose any confidential details without explicit consent from the nominees.
  
  

Verification of Information:

The organising committee reserves the right to verify the accuracy of information provided in the nominations.

Award Categories:

There will be three Award Winners, selected by the Jury and an additional Peer Award to be voted live during the CSO Awards /24 Gala Night.

Ceremony Attendance:

• Nominees are strongly encouraged to attend the awards ceremony during the World Economic Forum in Davos.
• Winners who are unable to attend must designate a representative to accept the award on their behalf.
  
  

Promotional Rights:

• The organisers reserve the right to use the names, logos, and images of the winning companies and individuals for promotional and marketing purposes.
• Winners are encouraged to promote their achievements through their own channels.
  
  

Media and Publicity:
The event organisers may issue press releases and use social media platforms to announce winners and share event highlights.
